Philip: WAAA!!!! FINALLY!
Chette: Ehe.. anyway this post is about a song.
Philip: A song?

Chette: yep! from Israel with Chris Tomlin ^^ the title is “I know who I am” It’s one of the songs I got from Sis.Ariane (huggles her) finally as I listened to it… it brings back memories of us… you know?

Philip: oh yeah that song! and let me… guess you want to “share” it to others ne?
Chette: yeah!  I want to share it why it brings back memories.
Philip: okay let’s start!

Philip: I was running, and you found me

• I used to run away (those people who know my past can understand this). I use to hide from those spiritual forces and people who want me dead. But Jesus grabbed me and hugged me really tight and told me. “Son… it’s ok. You’re safe with me. Don’t run away anymore”

Chette: I was blind, and you gave me sight, You put a song of praise in me

• I was blind. Even though people kept sharing me about Jesus, my eyes were covered spiritually. I was sincerely wrong with what I believe before. God has been knocking and kept knocking until I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Savior, and when that happened, He put a song of praise in me. That is why I can’t stop praising Him!

Philip: I was broken, and you healed me, I was dying, and you gave me life

• I was a ‘beyond-repair’ person. I was dying. I wanted to die before. I was only waiting to die. But God told me, “Son I will give you life.” and He gave me these wonderful visions of my future.

Chette: I am forgiven, I am your friend

• Though I was a really bad girl (a blacksheep) before, God forgave me for all of my sins and He also made me His friend. He is my best best friend!

Philip: I am accepted, I know who I am

• I was a loner. I hated company. I was hated. But when God rescued me, I found out that I am accepted and no matter what people say? I KNOW who I AM and God is with Me.

Chette: I am secure, I’m confident, That I am loved, I know who I am

• In God’s arms I am protected. He always protect me so I am confident that I am loved. God has been so good to me and He really did protect me many times. I KNOW who I AM and God will continue to protect me.

Philip & Chette : I am alive, I am set free! I belong to you and you belong to me

Chette: Since we are humans, we fall and commit mistakes. There are also People who knew our past will act us demons telling us that we have no right to change and call us what we were before in the past. But just like what the Bible said, “If anyone is in Christ; He is a new creation. The Old has gone, the new has come” So with Christ there is Hope, because of what He has done, we have been made holy. We are WORTHY of SERVING the ONE, even people thinks we are not worthy in God’s Eyes we are.

Chette: In the Chorus, God spoke in my heart that I should not box myself. That Life has something more to offer. That life is so wonderfully free. I knew that I’ve been serving God but I realized right now that I became slave in the past; I was box. I was always in a beck and call. I didn’t enjoy Life anymore. God has something more than this to offer. That is why He said, “Get out of the box. Explore the World. Go out! Admire the nature. Take a vacation! Finish your school! Work! I have visions and promises for you! Do not let them step on your head. You’ve got a future ahead of you! How can I full my visions if you were in the box? This is not my will for you.”

Chette: God remind me still of the Hope and Promise. He told me to go out of the box and be brave. To walk with Confidence because we have done nothing wrong. We should not be afraid of tomorrows because God is with us.

Chette: Truly that God’s mercies are new every morning ^^ I recalled when I was a newly Born again Christian, when I go to other places; I always admire the nature. I’ve missed that… There was one time as I was walking, I boldly ask God.. “God, if its your will.. can you give me an artwork in the sky?” then the wind BLEW and I saw in front of my two eyes how God formed a wonderfully sketched in the skies. As I was looking above, tears where falling as God formed the clouds into something else…

Philip: You missed that huh?
Chette: Yeah.
Philip: So you want to take a vacation?
Chette: hehe. Sure. After School ends.
Philip: We’ll pray for that.
Chette: yup! God will provide ^^

I just want to share you something that is on my mind lately.. and I think this is the right time to express it. On December 09, 2008… Philip (my godswill) and I will celebrate our 6th Anniversary. I know what’s the big deal of having a 6th Anniversary right? it’s the 6th. Not the 7th or 8th. But the reason why I am doing this… because I wanted to remind myself… about things…

1. God will give the one for you when you are Ready.
I knew Philip eversince I was a child. (Although we are not close) but we saw each other physical and spiritual. We see each other in our dreams (spiritual realm), we see each other at school, in baguio… even in our street etc.. But God did not put us together until we are ready.

//Edit: Philip: Yep! Many people nowadays can’t “wait” for the right time; as a result? heartbreaks… bitter enemies…

2. Philip prayed and waited for me for 18 years… while ME on the other hand.. had lots of bfs. Lol. I wonder what will my children thinks when they ask about that thing…

“Oooh Dad… how did you and Mom met each other?”
“I waited for your Mom for 18 years”
“Aww so sweet! what about you Mom?”
“Oh.. before I met your dad.. I had lots of Bfs”

“Hahahaha! Oh well… forgive me my children… your mother wasn’t aware of True Love. But my relationship with your dad… is the greatest of all. Our Relationship like the others have trials but the difference of our relationship is that the center is Jesus Christ. And When I met your Dad… I was content with your Dad… And Honestly speaking, when I met your dad.. I don’t see guys cute anymore.. I mean even there were cute guys parading in front of me, I don’t get attract anymore. I only see your dad.. as the most handsome man I’ve ever met.”

3. (Lastly) God is really the best match maker.
Truly that when you give the Pen to the Most Romantic Writer (God) ever! He’ll make your Love story very unforgatable! And it will be one of the best Love Stories in this World.

Testimony Title: Believe! Do not Doubt!

Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

1 John 4:4  
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Chette: After the successful first practice of KKB Angeles VIA/JAM last April 16, 2008. I went to PCBS (Philippine Christian Bookstore) to buy a song book that God ordered me to buy. But after I bought the book… I went outside and it was raining. Then I simply remembered the authority that God has given to all of the Christians. The Power to Move Mountains in Jesus’ Name. So I look at my hand and I felt God telling me to raise my hand, and I command the Rain to stop in Jesus name. Without Doubting… But by FAITH, God will stop the Rain. And He did. It’s funny that We, as Christians are called “Sleeping Giants”. We have the authority and power in Jesus’ Name but we don’t practice it. If we are practicing these privileges God has given to us… as His Children, we won’t even think of turning our back to God. If only Christians would STAND in this world.. We can make a difference. Just like that quote that I heard.. “We can fly like birds, if we have FAITH”.

Christians seem to have forgotten what kind of power they have available and the devil keeps on deceiving them… God made His children in such a way that when the people of the world is sitting, they would be standing, when the world is standing, they will stand out, when the world stands out, We, His children must be outstanding and when the devil dares the world to be outstanding, God’s people will be the standards to be used..

Testimony Title: can it happen?

Acts 12:7-10
Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

Philip: Last Sunday (April 13, 2008), I went home and it was already “late” or rather “early” Morning around 3am because we finished decorating the KKB Bulletin Board. The door was lock so I have no choice but to stay outside and just prayed. (I don’t want to knock because I don’t want to wake up my family); I decided to pray outside and just wait for the morning. But as I was praying with my eyes closed, I saw a Big Angel standing in front our door; he opened his palm and the door opened. I asked him, “Can it happen?” He smiled and said, “Yes. Just Believe” and after that, I opened my eyes and I saw the door opened (my brother opened the door).

I remember an incident just like this in the Bible… when the Angel escorted Peter out of the Jail. It is true that God sends angel so show us that He doesn’t forsake us… but all we have to do is BELIEVE… BELIEVE… and BELIEVE.

Chette: Amen to that… JUST BELIEVE.
Philip: Anything is POSSIBLE with GOD.
Chette & Philip: GOD BLESS!!!

Taken after a long tiring Ministry but it’s all for God’s Glory!
The Joy of the Lord is OUR STRENGTH!

Chette: You have come to realize… There are certain things in life… that you don’t want to let go of and give to God. (I am already a Leader, a Worshipper and Minister… yet I still struggle especially when I do not like God’s Plan)… 

The time my parents told me that grandpa Regino is in the hospital and dad said that his time is drawing close… I ask God not to take him away from me yet… even though many times God told me that He wants my grandpa to be by His side already.

Then after few weeks, I received another text from Mom and told me to pray for his soul… I cried unto God, begging him not to take away grandpa but after I received a text from Mom again saying “Grandpa wants to be with God already” that’s the time I decided to let him go and ask God for a comfort and peace…. then my sister told me that grandpa Regino is dead.

And I felt God’s peace upon me… but I am just a mere human, so even until now… I can’t help but to cry when I remember memories of my grandpa… especially the dollar coins he gave me before he left… the pictures with him… that I took in my phone (I suddenly had the urge to take a picture of him last February 2006, my birthday when he visited Philippines.)

It was so hard to let go of Grandpa Regino because… Lolo Regino is my favorite grandfather. He is fun to be with…. A memorable lolo (grandfather) indeed. Aside from that, He is a giver, lovable and also strict. I loveeeeee him sooo much and I thank God that He gave me a chance to show my Lolo how much I love him.

As I open my Bible… God showed me the verse in Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

This is God’s will… and even I struggled to let go of Grandpa… I know and I trust God that it’s Lolo’s time and He has plans… for all of us whom he left on earth. Someday… We will see each other again Lolo.. this is not a goodbye but a “see you later”

and… Lolo I will always remember the “FIGHTING ANTS”

Philip: Grandpa Regino is smart, wholesome to be with. I have learned a lot of things about life (when he came to the philippines we sometimes spend an hour talking about simple things in life that people usually take for granted.) That’s Lolo Regino. He gives value to the simplest things that is why He is a man of Principle, Wisdom and Balance. I am glad that I met such a wonderful grandfather, he is very different from all the grandpa I met in my life.

TADA~ It’s almost done! My God-given Office!

and God gave me a Blackberry Phone… (but I am struggling for this phone… I need to make it unlock… but it cost 3500 to unlock it! Oh God… provide that one for me… but I am thankful for this Phone! love you Lord!)

Philip: Not only that… PROMOTION! Last week… Our Pastor promoted us and involve us in the CMT! (Management team) so… more work…

Chette: But even more work? God blesses us when we work for Him…. but it is our choice if we want to work for Him or not. Speaking of choices… we want to share you something that we learned for the past few days… It’s about Choices.

“CHOICES”

Philip: When we are in a deep trouble, we have 2 choices:

Answers:
1. Depend on God
2. Depend on ourselves

Chette: To Depend on God is very hard for me; it requires WAITING and PATIENCE (not to mention: Worry, Fear and doubt). But its a 100% Fullfillment of all God’s Visions, Dreams and Promises in our lives.

Philip: On the other side, to depend on ourselves requires FULL FOCUS on our GOALS. Output Result in other words. Sometimes Haste that can lead to Waste or Ok.

Chette: JESUS was the BEST Example for this: When He was crucified on the Cross, people mocked Him and Challenged Him to save Himself. But what did Jesus do? He put His Life into the Hands of our Father God. He depended on His Father. It was a PAINFUL EXPERIENCE for JESUS! To wait and depend on God. To Resist the pain of those thorns and nails. But when God’s timing arrived; the result was very satisfying.

Philip: We are now living in a simple life because of Jesus.
Chette: What a Mighty God we serve, AMEN?

“I asked a lady what did her lover gave her that made her feel so loved. Eagerly, she replied… “he sent me a bouquet of roses” and then she asked me, “How about you?” I smiled and answered, “My lover went up the cross, wore a crown of thorns, was nailed and died”

and then she said, “too bad. you must have missed him”

I smiled once more and said, “of course not, coz the moment I learned about what He did, He never left my heart”
