Testimony Title: Believe! Do not Doubt!

Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

1 John 4:4  
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Chette: After the successful first practice of KKB Angeles VIA/JAM last April 16, 2008. I went to PCBS (Philippine Christian Bookstore) to buy a song book that God ordered me to buy. But after I bought the book… I went outside and it was raining. Then I simply remembered the authority that God has given to all of the Christians. The Power to Move Mountains in Jesus’ Name. So I look at my hand and I felt God telling me to raise my hand, and I command the Rain to stop in Jesus name. Without Doubting… But by FAITH, God will stop the Rain. And He did. It’s funny that We, as Christians are called “Sleeping Giants”. We have the authority and power in Jesus’ Name but we don’t practice it. If we are practicing these privileges God has given to us… as His Children, we won’t even think of turning our back to God. If only Christians would STAND in this world.. We can make a difference. Just like that quote that I heard.. “We can fly like birds, if we have FAITH”.

Christians seem to have forgotten what kind of power they have available and the devil keeps on deceiving them… God made His children in such a way that when the people of the world is sitting, they would be standing, when the world is standing, they will stand out, when the world stands out, We, His children must be outstanding and when the devil dares the world to be outstanding, God’s people will be the standards to be used..

Testimony Title: can it happen?

Acts 12:7-10
Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

Philip: Last Sunday (April 13, 2008), I went home and it was already “late” or rather “early” Morning around 3am because we finished decorating the KKB Bulletin Board. The door was lock so I have no choice but to stay outside and just prayed. (I don’t want to knock because I don’t want to wake up my family); I decided to pray outside and just wait for the morning. But as I was praying with my eyes closed, I saw a Big Angel standing in front our door; he opened his palm and the door opened. I asked him, “Can it happen?” He smiled and said, “Yes. Just Believe” and after that, I opened my eyes and I saw the door opened (my brother opened the door).

I remember an incident just like this in the Bible… when the Angel escorted Peter out of the Jail. It is true that God sends angel so show us that He doesn’t forsake us… but all we have to do is BELIEVE… BELIEVE… and BELIEVE.

Chette: Amen to that… JUST BELIEVE.
Philip: Anything is POSSIBLE with GOD.
Chette & Philip: GOD BLESS!!!

Taken after a long tiring Ministry but it’s all for God’s Glory!
The Joy of the Lord is OUR STRENGTH!

Chette: You have come to realize… There are certain things in life… that you don’t want to let go of and give to God. (I am already a Leader, a Worshipper and Minister… yet I still struggle especially when I do not like God’s Plan)… 

The time my parents told me that grandpa Regino is in the hospital and dad said that his time is drawing close… I ask God not to take him away from me yet… even though many times God told me that He wants my grandpa to be by His side already.

Then after few weeks, I received another text from Mom and told me to pray for his soul… I cried unto God, begging him not to take away grandpa but after I received a text from Mom again saying “Grandpa wants to be with God already” that’s the time I decided to let him go and ask God for a comfort and peace…. then my sister told me that grandpa Regino is dead.

And I felt God’s peace upon me… but I am just a mere human, so even until now… I can’t help but to cry when I remember memories of my grandpa… especially the dollar coins he gave me before he left… the pictures with him… that I took in my phone (I suddenly had the urge to take a picture of him last February 2006, my birthday when he visited Philippines.)

It was so hard to let go of Grandpa Regino because… Lolo Regino is my favorite grandfather. He is fun to be with…. A memorable lolo (grandfather) indeed. Aside from that, He is a giver, lovable and also strict. I loveeeeee him sooo much and I thank God that He gave me a chance to show my Lolo how much I love him.

As I open my Bible… God showed me the verse in Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

This is God’s will… and even I struggled to let go of Grandpa… I know and I trust God that it’s Lolo’s time and He has plans… for all of us whom he left on earth. Someday… We will see each other again Lolo.. this is not a goodbye but a “see you later”

and… Lolo I will always remember the “FIGHTING ANTS”

Philip: Grandpa Regino is smart, wholesome to be with. I have learned a lot of things about life (when he came to the philippines we sometimes spend an hour talking about simple things in life that people usually take for granted.) That’s Lolo Regino. He gives value to the simplest things that is why He is a man of Principle, Wisdom and Balance. I am glad that I met such a wonderful grandfather, he is very different from all the grandpa I met in my life.

He made it unlock for free! so I didn’t need money anymore. Ryt now I’m waiting 4 atty to drop by at the office. Chette: Yep~ The Labor in the Lord is never in Vain (corinthians) speaking of that… God surprised me for my Birthday! 2 Surprises actually…

TADA~ It’s almost done! My God-given Office!

and God gave me a Blackberry Phone… (but I am struggling for this phone… I need to make it unlock… but it cost 3500 to unlock it! Oh God… provide that one for me… but I am thankful for this Phone! love you Lord!)

Philip: Not only that… PROMOTION! Last week… Our Pastor promoted us and involve us in the CMT! (Management team) so… more work…

Chette: But even more work? God blesses us when we work for Him…. but it is our choice if we want to work for Him or not. Speaking of choices… we want to share you something that we learned for the past few days… It’s about Choices.

“CHOICES”

Philip: When we are in a deep trouble, we have 2 choices:

Answers:
1. Depend on God
2. Depend on ourselves

Chette: To Depend on God is very hard for me; it requires WAITING and PATIENCE (not to mention: Worry, Fear and doubt). But its a 100% Fullfillment of all God’s Visions, Dreams and Promises in our lives.

Philip: On the other side, to depend on ourselves requires FULL FOCUS on our GOALS. Output Result in other words. Sometimes Haste that can lead to Waste or Ok.

Chette: JESUS was the BEST Example for this: When He was crucified on the Cross, people mocked Him and Challenged Him to save Himself. But what did Jesus do? He put His Life into the Hands of our Father God. He depended on His Father. It was a PAINFUL EXPERIENCE for JESUS! To wait and depend on God. To Resist the pain of those thorns and nails. But when God’s timing arrived; the result was very satisfying.

Philip: We are now living in a simple life because of Jesus.
Chette: What a Mighty God we serve, AMEN?

“I asked a lady what did her lover gave her that made her feel so loved. Eagerly, she replied… “he sent me a bouquet of roses” and then she asked me, “How about you?” I smiled and answered, “My lover went up the cross, wore a crown of thorns, was nailed and died”

and then she said, “too bad. you must have missed him”

I smiled once more and said, “of course not, coz the moment I learned about what He did, He never left my heart”

“Who is He?”

Philip: ^_^ ah… so.. explain to me why we are now having “wordpress” instead of making one in our domain?
Chette: Well it’s very simple! We are so busy nowadays so we can just use this wordpress! Easy to update and no problem thinking of what to style the layout etc…
Philip: Oh ok…

Chette: If you guys are wondering the same thing. Well actually someone bought potterhands and blessingsofgod.com (I am not sure who… but I have a feeling it was some church organization) BUT! It’s ok I have bought another domain (and I am still waiting for that domain… so stay tuned for that)

Philip: and then?

Chette: Well, I have decided what to do for our domains but since we are RARELY updating our Love blog so I have decided to just make it a wordpress one!

Philip: Oh… Ok.. oh well, in the domain or not … it doesn’t matter, as long as we’re blogging and telling everyone how we are and we can share stuff that’s what matters.

Sharing: A wonderful Testimony from the Osborn

Chette: Labsie… what is a Divine will?
Philip: It is when you let God controls everything, and He has a concreate plan for us! Just like what it said in Jeremiah 29:11.
Chette: So this is about our life?
Philip: Nope not just life… our plans.. our decisions… and even our Love life.
Chette: Yeah Divine will is really the best huh?
Philip: You said it! Just like Dick and Susan
Chette: Dick and Susan?
Philip: Yep!
Chette: Oh you mean Dick and Susan Osborn?
Philip: Yep!
Chette: Goodie! *looks at everyone* Well Let me share you this wonderful Love Story about Dick and Susan Osborn. It’s one of the Divine will… when God writes your Love story, it’s truly amazing!

 “God has a thousand ways”
Dick and Susan Osborn

Heavy snows were falling outside of Dick Osborn’s parents home in Boise, Idaho. He sat quietly in his room thinking about a dating relationship that had ended. Reaching the Bible, he read “We toss the coin but it is the Lord who controls the decision” (Proverbs 16:33 TLB).

Normally wasn’t the type to give God an ultimatum, but this particular evening he felt lonely and depressed as he thought about Sandy. He reached in his pocket for a quarter and flipped it up in the air, saying, “Lord if it comes down heads, I will marry Sandy. If it doesn’t, I know isn’t your will.”

… The coin landed with the tails side up.

“NO LORD! That’s NOT THE RIGHT ANSWER! Let’s go two out of three!” He tossed the coin into the air again, and it came down tails. The same thing happened the fourth time. “Well, this is just a bunch of hokey anyway,” he said.

Glancing around the room, Dick’s gaze fell on a Lookout magazine lying upside down on the rug. On the back was an advertisement for the book Parables for Young Teens. Dick stared at the book’s picture and read the author’s name. He pleaded. “Lord, who am I going to marry?–Susan F.Titus?” He flipped his coin up in the air again, and this time it came down heads.

“Well that just proves that this is a bunch of hokey. I don’t even know anyone named, ‘Susan F.Titus’ I don’t even know what state she lives in. How could I possibly marry her?”

He soon forgot the incident

After a few months..
Dick started to attend the Church group and there he met a woman named, “Susan” They became friends and they were talking and laughing. One night, Dick asked Susan if they can go out.. but Susan decline because she is going out with someone already. Dick said, “Let me know if you ever change your mind”

Several Months Later, Dick was shocked to find out that Sandy (his ex) was engaged. The following Sunday, Dick walked Susan from the Church to the Parking Lot. He looked back at Susan when he heard her calling his name.

“Dick, remember what you said about my telling you if I ever wanted to go out with you?” Susan said,

Dick answered, “Yeah!”
“Well, I’d like to.” said Susan.
A smile lit Dick’s face “OK!”

They had lunch the following Wednesday, and it didn’t take long they became engaged.

One day, Dick was carrying some of Susan’s Son* things upstairs to his room, he noticed a framed poster hanging on the walls of Susan that read “Parables for teens” authored by Susan F.Titus.

He stared open-mouthed, then turned to Susan. “Did you write that book?”
“Yes” Susan answered, blinking. “Why else would I have it hanging on my wall?”
Dick didn’t respond but just stared at her incredulously.

While they were in their honeymoon, Dick told Susan Titus Osborn (his wife)  the WHOLE STORY. He squeezed Susan’s hand, laughed and said. “But you’d better not tell anyone. I don’t think they’d ever believe it”

Chette: sigh… Divine Godswill is the best! Oh if you’re wondering Susan’s son is Susan and Richard Titus’ son, her first husband

Chette: Hehe. Philip and I, pray every night before he goes home. But it takes an hour for the two of us to pray all of our prayer points! and it became longer when Lyka and Tamara came into our circle lol.

2. We Both Love the Anime “Lovely Complex!”
Philip: Well at first Chette is “Obsessed” now I am “Obsessed” as well!
Chette: Obsessed is a strong word…
Philip: Okay how about… WE LOVE THAT ANIME!

3. We are always “Partners” in Every Ministry!
Philip: Example… we are both Cybernet (Heads) of Jesus is Lord Angeles
Chette: We are both Artist Circle (Heads)
Philip: Don’t forget Production and Creative Team
Chette: And Multimedia Ministry.

4. We have the same Spiritual Birthday (October 09, 2002)
Chette: and Our Anniversary is December 09, 2002.
Philip: Yehey! We are now 5 years!
Chette: er… Labsie… not 5 years yet… 4 years going to five
Philip: er… gomen…

5. We are both “Februarian”
Chette: Did I spell it correctly?
Philip: I think its Februaryian
Chette: No it’s Februarian… My Birthday is February 14
Philip: and I am February 13!

6. We’re both agents of satan before.
Chette: Yeahh…. I was a sorceress before
Philip: and I was a shadow-demon
Chette: But God changed us and turn us into Christians!

7. We are both JIL Angeles Core Leaders
Chette: yeheea!!! GREATER GLORY!
